EvoAir C Series

The Acetec EvoAir C-series offers ventilation units with counterflow heat exchangers instead of rotary heat exchangers.

In a counterflow heat exchanger, the fresh supply air and the warm exhaust air, coming from areas like kitchens and wet rooms, pass through separate channels. Through the walls of the heat exchanger, heat is transferred from the warmer exhaust air to the cooler supply air before it is brought into the building. This results in a high heat recovery efficiency, often over 90% under the right conditions.

It is common to install units with counterflow heat exchangers in restaurants, workshops, or apartment buildings, as no unwanted air transfer occurs. This prevents the spread of, for example, cooking odors or cigarette smoke.

The units in the C-series feature summer bypass for both outdoor air and exhaust air, as well as a built-in humidity sensor for exhaust air. The temperature of the heat exchanger is monitored and regulated to a level that prevents ice formation, ensuring maintained capacity of the units and fewer operational disruptions.
